Meet the experienced professionals behind Adventure Academy, bringing decades of experience in adventure sports, mountaineering, leadership development and adventure education.

Mrs. Bimla Negi Deoskar

Director

Recipient of Government of India’s highest National Award for excellence in the field of Adventure Sports, “First National Adventure Award 1994”. With a credit of more than 14 major mountaineering expeditions, she successfully led the Indian Mountaineering Foundation’s Golden Jubilee All Women Expedition to Mt. Satopanth and the IMF Silver Jubilee Expedition INWEE 2018 to Mt. Manirang. She has also piloted several expeditions to the Central Himalayas.

Mr. Avinash Deoskar

Director

First professional adventurer from Central India, he pioneered the concept of edu-adventure and adventure tourism in the region. He has been practicing adventure sports for confidence building among youth, leadership programs, alternate livelihood projects, human resource initiatives, disaster preparedness and adventure therapy. Awarded Nagpur Hero by The Times of India and Orange City Awards, he has mentored 14 tribal youth to climb Mt. Everest, completed more than 14,000 km of trekking in the Himalayas and conducted more than 300 Himalayan camps.
