Hazra Falls
- Hazra Falls is located in the picturesque settings of Dareskasa - Salekasa forest range at 55 km from Gondia. The location is known for the ancient Kachargarh caves, a place of religious and cultural importance for the Gond tribals and other tribes from Central India.
- The local tribal youths were encouraged to start an adventure based eco-tourism centre at Hazra falls. The project was initiated by the Forest Department,GoM andis being run by the Joint Forest Management Committee ,Village Navatola, Salekasa, Gondia.
- The entire set up is part of the 'Confidence Park', as it presents a module for social upliftment by enabling the Youth. The project, conceived & implemented by Mr.Avinash Deoskar, has witness more than 800000 tourists visiting the place and undertaking major adventure activities such as -High rope course, zorbing, Jungle trek and a 1400 feet long ZIP LINE.
- The Hazra fall project has strengthened the local economy with a regular tourist inflow and help restore the delicate fabric of social life in one of the finest tribal belt of Central India. Hazra fall project is a Module to replicate for social upliftment, an example of Confidence building in the local youth, enabling them to take up Ecotourism for altemate livelihood.
- The project has received wide media coverage and has been awarded with the Sant Turkaram Award at district and state level.Zip Line at Hazra Fall is one of the most senic and adventurous activity and a unique, one of a kind model in India
